I started a Raw Food shop last year to express my ability to make food, turn others on to Living Live Food and create a $10 lunch in Byron Bay and also because there was nothing offering raw food that was organic, interesting and well priced. The food I make is constantly praised, which I appreciate and quiet frankly, would prefer the food spoke for itself, however in this small town, I have the reputation of being a bitch. How did this happen I wonder? It began when I got involved with people.
I am a bitch because I fire people who steal from me.
I am a bitch because I don't want to hire fantatics, divas, wannabes, lazy fucks and freaks.
I am a bitch because I won't give away my original recipes.
I am a bitch because I don't want to give away my food for free.
I am a bitch because I answer back when others are rude to me.
I am a bitch because sometimes I have ordered cooked food in a restaurant (no other places around here serve Raw and I like to go out)
I am a bitch because I opened in the first place when really everybody else had the idea first, right? and finally I am a bitch because it's none of my business what other's think of me and so I just don't care.
So, I have decided to live my truth and embrace my Bitch, and this site is my expression of this, along with Living Live Food lifestyle, recipes, opportunities, information and fun.

Closing the Kitchen June 24 - July 20
I am closing the Kitchen while I travel to Sedona for the Teacher Training of Drunvalo Melchizedek's Living in the Heart.
Last day is Friday 24th, so if you need anything let me know.
I will return July 20th with lots of new and yummy ideas.
I will be doing a weekly box that will have many Living Live Raw Essentials and Treats to get you through the week. It will be available to pick up or be sent to Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, and the end of July, early August, I will be starting to have available some of my classes online - more closer to the time, but something to get excited about.
Finally, you can now like us on Facebook as Alive and Wild.

Jicama rocks

Finally found some Jicama at the local markets yesterday - LOVE LOVE
Hopefully we can get more as its the yummiest thing ever. I made a 'potato' salad with it and stuffed an organic tomato - so fresh and light

Catering
Friday was the first day I catered - Living Live Raw Food for 40 people!
It was super rewarding and a great success - can't wait to do more - in fact Anya and I are doing a Singles Cocktail Party on the 6th May, here in Byron Bay.
We will be doing raw food Canapes and Cocktails from 5 - 8pm for all those who are single and ready to mingle book a place
Below are some of the dishes that went out on Friday all gluten, wheat and dairy free
This is Crunchy Vegetables with Kelp Noodles and
a Spicy Peanut Sauce
These are 'Flying Saucers' and are a Mexican style
Quesadilla

This is a Living Live Zucchini Pasta with Basil Pesto, Olive Tapanade and PineNut Parmasen. Yummmm

Its great because making to order keeps it fresh and you can always have what you want because its made especially for you
This is a buckwheat wrap with Supersalad, Avocado, Pesto, Mayo, Mac Nut Cheese and Veg and Nut Burger - super yum!

Moving Day has come!
Finally...
The changes have begun. Closed the shop downstairs and moved everything up into the Kitchen. We re-open March 13th (so far) upstairs next to the Dentist, same complex.
You can order online www.aliveandwild.com, and come pick up or come in and check out what we have.
There will still be our delicious and nutritious food and sweet treats, as well as Superfoods, Supplements, (some exclusive to us) packaged goods and Organic Skincare.

Agendas
Need to vent.
Have you noticed that when you don't follow someone else's agenda, you all of a sudden are a bitch?
Someone I know is having a book he has written edited right now. The editor keeps sending back the work with mistakes in it, spelling, grammer words etc - they even spelt his name incorrectly on the title page!

My friend has asked this editor to stop working as he is not happy with the work. He feels the least he should get back is something grammatically correct with no need to spellcheck, after all they are charging him for it.
All of a sudden, his character is called into question, he is abused - I mean people really need to get responsible for themselves and shut the fluck up.
Raw Bitch has vented, feeling better Peace love and mung beans

New ideas?
I am thinking of changing locations.
I want to pull up from main Byron Bay and move to the industrial estate and concentrate more on different aspects.
I want to grow produce hydroponically, using ORMUS elements etc and sell more on the net. I also have so many offers to cater my friends retreats and this really appeals to me.
